Description

A innovative project called 'Compassion for Voices' was funded by a grant from the Cultural Institute at King’s as part of its 2014 Collaborative Innovation Scheme for Early Career Researchers, along with further grants from the Compassionate Mind Foundation, Balanced Minds, and the Medical Research Council. This project was led by Charlie Heriot-Maitland, Department of Psychology at King's College London, in collaboration with Kate Anderson, independent animation director. They produced a 5-minute animated film to engage a non-academic audience with the compassionate approach to relating with voices, with potential for use as a therapeutic, educational, and de-stigmatising tool. At the Cultural Institute showcase event on 26th Feb 2015, this project jointly won best project award in the 2014 Collaborative Innovation Scheme.
