This is a pioneering series of international collaborative workshops devoted to the issues associated with Muslim Young people in Britain and Russia. It was funded Religion and Society Programme (UK) and New Eurasia Foundation (Russia). It resulted in a special double-issue of Religion, State, and Society (39/2, 2011), co-edited by me and Dr. Barbara Spalek
