Research interests

My research involves ethnographic and interactional discourse analysis. I cross-refer quite frequently to work in anthropology, sociology and cultural studies, and my publications cover urban multilingualism, language, youth, popular culture, ethnicities and class, language education and classroom discourse, second language learning, and research methodology.<br />
