My current research interests include the cellular and mitochondrial bioenergy involved in cell survival and/or death, the role of mitochondria dynamic in the various features characterizing brain injury, and the cell-cell communication and exchange during the injury process. All of which we hope will help to identify potential targets of neuroprotection for newborn babies with perinatal brain injury.
