Research interests

Louis' research and teaching interests include empirical corporate finance and financial intermediation. His recent research projects examine how social forces shape employee and firm behaviour.

Louis' work has been published in leading journals across disciplines, including the Review of Financial Studies, the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, the Review of Finance, the Journal of Money, Credit, and Banking, and the Journal of International Business Studies. His research has been featured in the Harvard Business Review, the BBC, and Forbes.
