Dr. Mattison Thompson is a lecturer in Marketing. She holds a PhD and MA in Marketing from Nottingham University Business School, UK, where she also received a BA (Hons) in Business Studies. Prior to joining King’s, she was an Assistant Professor in Marketing at NUBS, China.
She is a member of the American Marketing Association, the Chartered Institute of Marketing, the Academy of Marketing Science and the International Centre for Behavioural Business Research. She is an affiliate of the Lau Chinese Institute at King’s and a Visiting Professor at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.
Dr. Frauke Mattison Thompson studied Management Studies at Nottingham University Business Scholl before completing an MA and PhD in Marketing, also at Nottingham University Business School.
Before joining the Department of Management at King’s in 2011, Dr. Frauke Mattison Thompson was Assistant Professor of Marketing at Nottingham University Business School at the university’s China campus, where she spent three and a half years teaching and researching marketing and Chinese consumerism.
Research interests are on consumer privacy concerns, consumer loyalty behaviour and cultural differences in consumer behaviour primarily in the BRIC countries.
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
