    Research interests

    My work is primarily in bibliometrics, with particular application to cancer.  My interests lie in research funding, and impacts in non-conventional media such as clinical guidelines and the mass media.  I am also interested in onomastics, the analysis of names, and hence in the ethnicity and sex of researchers.
