Research interests
I study religion in the post-Soviet Republic of Armenia (Armenian Apostolic Church, Armenian Catholic Church, and neopaganism), identity formation in the Armenian diaspora, and contemporary Catholicism in Poland. Within the Anthropology of Religion, I am mainly interested in pilgrimage, the material aspect of religion, and the interrelations between religious and ethnonational identities.
