In her work she develops a conventionalist theory of territorial rights constrained by a legitimacy threshold. In an article currently under review, the theoretical framework is applied to the case of secession. She works under the supervision of Prof. Leif Wenar.
Laura's other research interests include the nature of rights, multiculturalism, theories of freedom, and justice.
