My personal webpage

My research involves interdisciplinary approaches to clinical neuroscience questions.  This draws from the fields of of integrative genomics, imaging and systems biology.

I am currently studying on the relationship between common genetic variation and quantitative imaging phenotypes in preterm infants, under supervision of Prof. David EdwardsProf Serena Counsell and Prof Giovanni Montana at the Centre for the Developing Brain at King's College and Dr Enrico Petretto in the department of Integrative Genomics at Imperial College. I established and coordinated the Developing Brain Seminar series.

Previous work includes a fellowship at the Integrative Genomics and Medicine group with Dr Enrico Petretto at theMRC Clinical Sciences Centre, to explore gene networks involved in epilepsy using live human tissue.  I presented these results at the GeneSys workshop of the International Conference on Systems Biology 2010 and was an invited speaker at the Royal Society conference "Modelling networks from sequence to consequence in eukaryotes".

My background has a focus on computational radiology approaches to neurodevelopmental disorders.  This includes earlier research in the Neonatal Medicine group at Imperial College, and during a Kennedy Scholarship in theComputational Radiology Laboratory at Harvard University, with Prof. Simon Warfield and Prof. Joseph Volpe.
