Research interests
Mike has wide experience in quantitative research methods, especially large-scale sample surveys such as the British Crime Survey. He has published extensively on public attitudes to crime and sentencing and on penal populism. He also has a long-standing interest in policing, and has written on topics including community safety, anti-social behaviour, probation and drugs.
