Research interests
Nishlyn Ramanna teaches undergraduate modules on the music industry, music and migration, jazz studies, and music and digital culture, as well as a postgraduate module on music and digital culture. He supervises undergraduate and postgraduate dissertation work on a range of topics in popular music studies and ethnomusicology. He was previously head of jazz studies at Rhodes University, South Africa.
