Biographical details
Previously to my time at King’s College, I was an associate lecturer at the University of Chichester specialising in exercise & health science, working alongside as an athletic coach and health mentor for Nuffield Health. This allowed me to apply my physiological skillset in the field working with a spectrum of clientele from clinical patients to marathon des Sables runners.
Since graduating in 2012, I have been contributing to the development of the gravity loading countermeasure skinsuit, a European Space Agency project that commenced during my masters. This progressed into a 3-year PhD funded by ESA's NPI program, under the supervision of Dr David A Green and Professors Thais Russsomano and Alan Breen, within the Centre of Human & Applied Physiological Sciences (CHAPS).
Since May 2014-2018, I had the pleasure of working for King's Health Partners' as clinical academic group development manager, contributing to the development of the tripartite mission, through the supporting research mapping and strategic intiatives related to KHP's institutes program and Clinical Academic Group’s.
I currently maintain an honorary position at King's whilst working for the Science and Technology Facilities Council as their MedTech Cluster Development Manager.
