Research interests

Current research interests include the use of theoretical methods (QM/MM, Free Energy Calculations, Molecular Dynamics, Quantum Chemistry and others) to study the reaction mechanisms and specificity of enzymes. Current projects involve various phosphate processing enzymes (topoisomerases, dUTPase, D-Alanine ligase) and lipoxygenases. Reynier research also includes the calculation of NMR parameters to assist experiments and to find new relationships between them and structural features of biomolecules.
