Samuel Hart is a Ph.D. student at the British Heart Foundation Centre of Research Excellence, King's College London; and a member of the International Research Training Group (IRTG) 1816, with Georg-August-Universität Göttingen. His research in both London and Göttingen focuses on mechanisms of adverse cardiac remodelling: specifically investigating how leukocytes may act as key drivers of this process in the context of myocardial infarction (MI).
Samuel graduated with a B.Sc. in Pharmacology from King's College London in 2017, winning the Robin Hoult Prize for ‘best overall’ B.Sc. student and the British Pharmacological Society 'Undergraduate 2017' Prize . As part of his 4-year undergraduate programme, Samuel also completed an industrial placement at MedPharm, Guildford.
