Research interests (short)
Shan is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Lau China Institute. Before this, she completed her MSc degree at the University of Bristol in Sociology. Her research interests are about the political economy and sociological issues in China. Shan's Ph.D. dissertation topic is on State-Owned Enterprises in China. Her doctoral study is funded by the China Scholarship Council. She is also the President of the British Postgraduate Network for Chinese Studies.
