Shihab Romeed, PhD, MSc, MFDS RCSEng, MFDS RCSEd, PG Dip, DDS, FEHA

Shihab Romeed is Lecturer and Honorary Specialist Registrar in Restorative Dentistry at King's College London Dental Institute at Guy's, King's College & St Thomas' Hospitals. He is also Director of the MSc Advanced General Dental Practice programme at the Flexible Learning Unit . Formerly, he worked as a teaching fellow in oral surgery and restorative dentistry at the University of Manchester School of Dentistry (2007-2008).

He spent 4 years training (2003-2007) as a Senior House Officer and staff grade at different regional maxillofacial surgery units in Essex, South Wales and the North West, during which time, he obtained the Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh. He also obtained the American Dental Board Certificate at the U.S. state of Minnesota, where he is currently licensed since 2004.

Dr Romeed was awarded a PhD in restorative dentistry from the University of Manchester in 2002, His PhD focused on the biomechanics of different prostheses designs for patients with shortened dental arches. He studied a Postgraduate Diploma and MSc in Prosthodontics at the University of Damascus (1996-1999) and graduated with a degree of Doctor in Dental Surgery from the University of Aleppo in 1994.
