Biographical details

Zina Ibrahim is an Artificial Intelligence research scientist with interest in improving people's health. Currently, she is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Artificial Intelligence for Medicine at the Department of Biostatistics and Health Informatics, King’s College London. Zina’s research spans theoretical foundations and applications of knowledge representation, machine learning, and multi-agent systems, specifically in biological knowledge discovery, healthcare delivery, and e-health infrastructures.

 After completing a BSc (Honours) in Software Engineering in 2003, Zina’s interest in AI kick-started her academic career as she obtained her MSc (2004) and PhD (2010) in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Windsor, Canada.  Zina has been a Lecturer since December 2016.
