Abstract

Online game has become increasingly popular with people of all ages. But it also poses a number of security and privacy risks and children are particularly vulnerable to these risks. In order to protect children and other online gamers, it is important to address these risks and implement appropriate security measures. This paper reviews a cryptographic method, Signcryption that processes signing message by the digital signature and encrypting it by the encryption algorithm simultaneously, providing a high level of security. In this paper, the existing Signcryption schemes have been reviewed and a new scheme is proposed that is based on an extended version of Meshram’s encryption algorithm. The analysis of proposed scheme shows that it is comparable to existing schemes and provides a number of additional security properties, such as unforgeability and forward secrecy.
