Abstract
Assesses the importance of the advances that 3D modelling, in particular, offers for Theatre History, Archaeology, and urban history, as experienced in the AHRC funded Pompey Project. Examines the impact of visualisation technologies upon the research and dissemination processes of the project as well as critically discussing the main issues that such technology raises for the execution of such projects.
