The chapter follows addressing Brazil’s contributions to the Allied efforts following the decision to declare war on Germany. A significant portion of the chapter is dedicated to describing the Naval War Operations Division (Divisão Naval de Operações de Guerra, or DNOG), as it remains a fundamental chapter in Brazilian naval history.
