Abstract

This paper was wrote to mark the centenary of the Battle of Jutland that was fought in the North Sea in 1916. It explores the future of debate over the battle. This paper is designed for a readership with some background knowledge to the period, battle and historiography. It is designed to be a thought provoking piece of research rather than an extended scholarship on the battle itself.
