Abstract

The paper examines, and extends via computer based 3D visualisation techniques, the hypothesis first put forward by Von Cube in 1906 that part of the structure of the scene depicted in a fresco in the so-called Baths of Sarno at Pompeii closely matches the stage facadeextant physical remains of the Great Theatre at Pompeii
