Biographical details

Jane completed her BSc in Public Health and Health Promotion and MSc in Public Health at University College Cork, Ireland.

Her career in research began at King's College London where her time was split 50:50 across two roles: 1) as a research coordinator recruiting acute stroke patients to cardiovascular and neurological intervention and observational trials, and 2) as a data quality monitor responsible for the data quality of a phase IV trial across the 50 sites in the UK.

Following this Jane moved to Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) where she worked as a clinical trial coordinator and was responsible for the setup, management and monitoring of numerous multi-centre phase 1 clinical trials.

In May 2017 Jane joined the Cancer Prevention Group (then at QMUL) as an epidemiologist with the aim of broadening her research skills, knowledge and techniques. She is currently assisting with the design, set up and management of cervical screening epidemiological studies in primary care.
