Personal profile

Biographical details

I am a clinical psychologist and researcher in neuropsychology. My initial degree in psychology is from the University of Exeter, my PhD from the University of Cambridge and MRC Cognition & Brain Sciences Unit, and my DClinPsy from the IoP. I work clinically three days per week at the Oliver Zangwill Centre for Neuropsychological Rehabilitation, part of Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust, and at the IoPPN two days per week as Academic Tutor on the DClinPsy programme.

Research interests

My research interests are in neuropsychology and neuropsychological rehabilitation in adults. My primary interests are in improving assessment and rehabilitation techiniques for the cognitive problems that frequently occur after brain injury and that impair everyday functioning (e.g. those concerned with attention, memory and executive functioning), but I am also interested in emotion regulation, psychological adjustment, and holistic approaches to rehabilitation.
