Research interests (short)

My research involves the development and application of diffusion MRI analysis methods to infer information about the brain, particularly the white matter and its connectivity, with a particular focus on brain development in the perinatal stages. In general, I am interested in using statistical methods and machine learning in combination with advanced diffusion MRI data to study and understand the developing brain. My current focus is on spatial registration of images of higher-order diffusion models to characterise white matter in neonatal images on a longitudinal and group level.
