Research interests
Head of the Section of Epidemiology & Social Psychiatry in the Division of Psychological Medicine and Psychiatry at the Institute of Psychiatry, King's College London. His section comprises 9 researchers from a variety of mental health research backgrounds, and includes 2 MRC-funded PhD students. His main interests are ethnicity and social factors in mental health, in particular elucidating the underlying causes of high rates of psychosis in particular ethnic minority groups in the UK.
