Biographical details

Rachel Clough is a Consultant Vascular Surgeon and Clinical Senior Lecturer in Surgical and Interventional Engineering. She trained in France in advanced endovascular techniques under the directorship of Professor Stéphan Haulon. Rachel holds a PhD in biomedical engineering and has developed innovative and quantitative clinical imaging methods. In her role as co-Director of the NIHR Cardiovascular MedTech Cooperative, she works with companies from start-ups to SMEs and large multi-nationals, to support the development of innovative medical devices and digital health solutions.
