Professor
Samuel Aryee is Professor of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Ghana and postgraduate degrees (MA & PhD) from McMaster University. Prior to joining King’s College, Sam held academic appointments in Asia (the National University of Singapore and Hong Kong Baptist University) and more recently, at Aston University in the UK.
Sam is currently an associate editor of Human Relations and serves on the editorial boards of Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Management and Organization Review.
Sam’s research interests include strategic human resource management, employee-organization relationship, work-family interface, workplace justice, power and politics, and leadership. He conducts research in these areas in cross-cultural contexts.
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
