Abstract
Constrained retransmission forwarding offers significant efficiency improvements for reliable multicast. Furthermore, the use Of bitmapped feedback packets is preferable to convey success statuses of download packets to the source. Suggested is a scheme to achieve constrained retransmission forwarding where bitmapped feedback packets apply.
