Biographical details

Jane Sturges is a Senior Lecturer in Organisational Behaviour. Her research focuses on the contemporary employment relationship, careers in organisations and work/life balance.
 
Jane started her working life as a journalist, after doing a degree in Classics, Philosophy and Ancient History at Oxford University. Having decided to make a career change, she gained an MBA and a PhD from Cranfield School of Management. Before joining King’s, she was a post-doctoral researcher at Birkbeck and a lecturer at the Open University, where she was involved in launching its BA in Business Studies programme. She joined the Department of Management in 2003.
 
Jane is a member of the editorial boards of Journal of Organizational Behavior and International Journal of Work, Organisation and Emotion.
