Biographical details

Mike is a Professor of Work Psychology and Head of the HRM & ER Department at King's Business School. Mike joined King’s in 2001.

Mike has broad research interests, but his work has mainly focused on the employment relationship and drivers of employee well-being and effectiveness. He has conducted studies in a large number of UK organisations including the NHS, retail banks, Higher Education institutions, the Armed Services, the Equality and Human Rights Commission and, most recently, the Church of England on the Experiences of Ministry Project.

Mike has published in many of the top international journals in his field, including the Journal of Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Occupational & Organizational Psychology, Journal of Occupational Health Psychology, Journal of Management Studies and Human Resource Management Journal
