    Research interests

    Kirstie is a Senior Research Fellow at the Policy Institute, King’s College London. Her research touches on a wide range of social policy areas, with interests in public attitudes to poverty and inequalities, climate adaptation and mitigation, social division and migration policy, along with the role of values, trust and inclusion in policy making. She is an experienced mixed methods researcher, with particular specialism in deliberative, participatory and creative approaches, and survey design. She works closely with local authorities in London and policy stakeholders to deliver applied research.

    Kirstie leads the Policy Institute's Communities and Opportunities research cluster, and chairs our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion committee. She also convenes the Policy Park's Methods Club and is a Trustee and Treasurer for the Social Research Association.

    She is currently a Co-Investigator for the UK in the World Values Survey and European Values Study, and the King’s Climate Research Hub.
