Biographical details

Victoria joined Department of Primary Care and Public Health Sciences in August 2011. She has an interest in both collaborative research with clinical academics, and her own statistical research into signal detection and the collection, analysis and reporting of drug harms. Her current collaborative research includes clinical trials and systematic review methodology.  Her role also includes teaching and statistical consultancy. Victoria is Deputy Director of Research Design Service London and co-leader of the NIHR Statistics Group.

  • Developing statistical methodology for signal detection of adverse drug reactions.
  • Assessing the implementation of signal detection methods in electronic health record data and cohort studies
  • The collection and  reporting of harms in randomised controlled trials
