Abstract
This paper reports the qualitative methods used and the
findings that inform a theoretical framework suitable for
measuring parent/health visitor (HV) relationships. Focusing
on the parental contribution to the parent/HV relationship,
the qualities and skills identified by health visitors and parents
during stimulated recall processes are presented. These findings
are discussed in the context of existing research.
