Abstract

This essay offers a survey of the presence of Peru as the basis, the place and a theme in the works of Peruvian writer and artist Jorge Eduardo Eielson contextualising this presence in relation to European twenty century trends and Eielson's interest in pre-Columbian cultural traditions.
